I have 10 years of experience as a bilingual (Spanish) teacher in NYC public schools (K-5). I taught Spanish in NY to grades 7 & 8 and I now am in my 17th year of teaching HS Spanish (levels 1, 2, 3, 4 & AP) in a public NJ high school. With my years of experience I know how to impart Spanish onto a non-Spanish-speaking student. I have worked with many children with 504s and IEPs as well as basic Spanish to college level. All of my students so far have gotten a 3 or higher on the AP exam with me. I taught English as a Second Language in NYC and I hold an undergraduate degree in English and Spanish. My graduate degree is in Bilingual Education. I have helped my current students with ESL and English assigments as well. I look forward to working with your son or daughter.
