I am an advocate, mother of a child with Down syndrome and pursuing a master's in special education. I believe all children can be taught no matter what the challenge. I teach any age and any possibility through an IEP or targeted goals. As a teacher, I work on monitoring and tracking progress and see my service as a collaborative effort with the family to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. We can meet at a library, school, your home or a public place that has a quiet area. Sessions start at 4:30 or 5:00 if you live in the Leander/Cedar Park area.
