Hi! If you or your children are looking to improve their understanding and love of physics, math, French, or German, please phone me! I love to teach -- it's in my family. My brother and sister-in-law are Ivy League professors, and my dad is also a university professor. I personally have years of professional teaching experience in French, English as a Second Language, and philosophy. My first degree was a Bachelor's in Science in cognitive science from Stanford University, and I just finished premedical studies at the University of Paris V (Sorbonne Cité) and Columbia University. I'm heading to Rome in September to complete my Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery (MD). Until then, I'm hoping to tutor as much as possible, and spread my love for sciences and languages. I've studied physics and math at Stanford, Paris, and Columbia, and am fluent in French and German, having lived in France and Germany for a number of years. Education should be available to everyone. So I keep my rates inexpensive -- $20/hr -- and this is negotiable for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. I'm willing to travel anywhere within the New York City transportation system. My lessons are fun, engaging, and concentrate directly on the academic progress of my students. I use positive reinforcement, and move at the pace of the student, helping her or him achieve a deep and broad understanding of the subject matter.
