Tutor in New Haven, Connecticut

I'm an
Individual
I started studying statistics in 2000, when I was studying Medical Sciences at Umm Al-Qura Unversity. The name of the course was Biostatistics and it stimulated my appetite to studying statistics in more detail. Then, in 2007, I got a scholarship to study Biostatistics at the University of Waterloo in Canada. I spent three years there studying undergraduate courses in Mathematics and Statistics. In 2011, I was admitted to the University of Vermont to study for a master's in Biostatistics. I can help students in understanding Statistics and Math more deeply rather than just doing things mechanically without really understanding what is going on. I used to tutor my colleagues in a Medical Sciences program, so I think I have the ability to explain concepts so easily that everyone can understand the material very well. My tutoring service is affordable compared to other tutors, and the reason is that I want to help people understand Statistics and Math without spending too much money. I am not looking for money as I am looking for helping people understand Statistics and Math. my hourly rate is $15, and I'm very easy and flexible with regard to payment! I live in New Haven, CT on 67 Day Street, and I can travel to the student location my phone number: 34775327...

June 29, 2015 To Whom It May Concern: I am pleased to have the opportunity to write in support of Mr. Faisal Hareeri who is applying for the Graduate Teaching Program. I have had the great pleasure of getting to know Faisal since he arrived at the University of Vermont. We didn’t do much in class he is taking one of graduate courses, STAT 251, Applied Probability Theory, but he seems to be attentive in my class and he asked a few questions so far, which indicates he reads the materials in advance before coming to class. I found out that Faisal’s communication skill is excellent in oral expression as well as in written expression. He was a great contributor to class discussion. He picked up important ideas and concepts in class quickly and became a consistent performer. I believe the Graduate Teaching Program would help him learn how to teach rigorous statistics courses, possibly hear at UVM, or at the university where he will pursue his Ph. D. degree in America. I recommend him to your program unequivocally. Sincerely Yours, Mun Son Professor of Mathematics/Statistics University of Vermont
