Hello,

My name is Taylor and I have been teaching elementary school in Aurora Public Schools for the past 6 years. This year I teach second grade reading and writing part-time due to a little one at home. I have a passion for teaching reading and would love to help your child. My expertise is kindergarten through third grade. I am offering tutoring for these ages.

I will first assess your child to see which area of reading(phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency, or comprehension) they need help in. From there, we will come up with a plan for your child to target their area of need. All teaching will be aligned with Common Core standards to support their work in school.

My rates are $25 for a half hour and $40 for an hour. I make reading fun and engaging. I will also support parents by giving them materials/activities to help their child.
