Hello! I am a well experienced teacher who grew up in Kelowna and recently moved back after 10 years teaching and running my own school in Dalian, China. In China I taught over 1000 Chinese students and over 200 Korean students. I have my Bachelor Degree in History and Political Science as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. I also studied some Engineering in university. I am currently attending UBC-O’s teacher program to become a BC certified teacher. My teaching specialties are really TOEFL, IELTS and SAT test preparation and I hope to secure some private individual or group lessons to prepare students for these tests. I expect my students to score higher than 105 on the TOEFL, 7.0 on the IELTS and 2000 on the SAT after working with me. My very best students have received scores of 116, 8.0 and 2200 respectively. I have also taught AP Macroeconomics, America and Canadian History classes as well as Science 10 and Social Studies 10. I am confident that I can tutor any student high school or younger on just about any subject due to my previous well rounded learning and teaching experience. As a teacher I take studying very seriously, but I also like to have fun with my students. I can ensure that students will have fun while learning with me.
