Hello, I am writing to you to express my interest in teaching at your institution on a part-time basis. Certified from the University of Toronto’s Equivalency board, my Bachelor of Arts in French Literature with eighteen years of diverse professional experience in Canada as a French Teacher in Elementary and Secondary schools give me a strong educational foundation to be a successful French teacher. As a trilingual speaker, fluent in Arabic, in French and English, I have a strong passion for learning and teaching languages. In 2017, I obtained TEFL Certification from University of Toronto, and am currently completing a Teaching Diploma- Teaching French as a Foreign and Second Language (FLE) from the University of Caen Normandy, France. Throughout my career, I attended numerous educational workshops, and have taken several teacher training courses taught by the Ontario College of Teachers Federation. As an educator, I have almost two decades of experience teaching French, Quran, and Arabic both in schools and as a tutor for elementary, middle and high school students. I am currently teaching French for middle school students at ISNA Elementary School. While I held numerous positions at a number of schools in teaching French, and Arabic my most significant experience was at Saudi Arabian Culture Centre on Saturday where I taught Arabic, and Quran for grade one for ten years. I also taught Arabic, and Quran at Rhyad Alsaleen school for eight years for many classes: three, fourth, seven, and eight for eight years. My creativity shines in the classroom where I integrate the arts, technology and drama. I believe that students learn best when they are engaged and able to express themselves. I am committed to creating spaces that are safe, caring, supportive, and transformative for my students. It is important for my students to feel heard, to believe in themselves, and to develop the skills and motivation needed to pursue their goals. By centralizing the voice and needs of the students, collaborating with the school and community as well as planning multi-modal and differentiated lessons, I work with the students and parents to ensure that I meet these objectives.
