Tutor in Winnipeg, Manitoba

I have taught English as a Second Language for 27 years. I have taught both children and adults in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario and have been an instructor at Red River College, Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology, Winnipeg School Division, and the Moose Jaw Multicultural Council. I have also been an assessor at WELARC and referred students to ESL programs in Winnipeg. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a Minor in French; a Bachelor of Education and a Manitoba Teacher's Certificate; and a Master of Library and Information Science. I am experienced teaching students from CLB 2-8, as well as Literacy students. I am well-known in the ESL field across Canada, and especially in Manitoba. I create my own materials in accordance with adult education and the Canadian Language Benchmarks. Due to my backgrounds in both education and information science, I am also very adept at teaching computer skills, as well as reading and writing skills. I have also taught Language Arts, French, German, and some History/Social Studies in the past. I am adept in helping students with French as a Second Language, and German as a Second/Third Language. I am hoping to be able to either tutor not too far from my home, to have students come to my home, or to meet at a library or some other community building.
