My name is "Miss Linda" and I have been a tutor for over 25 years. I specialize in teaching students how to read at an early age using fun techniques and games. I am excellent at teaching reading from the beginning, ABC's, phonics, and memorization. Equipped with all of the supplies needed to teach each individual student at their own pace. There is no reason why a child should not be reading before they get into kindergarten. I also teach reading comprehension, grammar, writing, basic math skills and homework help, whatever is needed for your student. Working one on one with him/her and showing the parent/guardian what is needed and required for the next lesson. I come to your home and my lessons are usually 45 minutes to an hour. School should be challenging, not difficult. Once it becomes difficult, the student tends to shut down.
