Brainstorm Tutoring provides 1:1 in home tutoring and mentoring to kids in SF, aged 4-18, who experience academic and emotional challenges often due to tricky home environments. Currently, we are seeking individuals who are as smart as they are compassionate, as flexible as they are consistent, and as cool as they are non-judgmental. And we are looking for empathy - someone who knows what it is like to be a kid in the city. Positions are part time, and all tutor/mentors are independent contractors. Students are generally seen once or twice a week for a total of three hours weekly. In terms of the positive impact you will have on another life, I honestly can't think of a better way to spend your time. Peace.
