I enjoy tutoring others in various fields and disciplines. I recently completed medical school and have 6 months of free time, and I like giving back to the global community in which we live by teaching others as I have been taught. I can teach people of all age ranges and can customize my teaching style to suit the needs and capabilities of my students. I have years of experience tutoring for the TOEFL exam, and what helped me get there is my fluency in both Arabic and English. I can translate documents and interpret conversations for people, as I have experience doing so with Ad Astra, which is an interpreter services agency based in Maryland. At this time, my schedule is very flexible and open to making appointments with many people. If there are time constraints, I will be able to accommodate my prospective students and help them to make the most out of their learning experiences with me. I will pace myself according to the pace that works best for not only short-term memory learning, but also for the long term. As part of my teaching style, I look for the most effective mechanisms of teaching and personalize them for the student under my instruction. One of the first things is deciphering whether someone is a visual learner, an auditory learner, or someone who can learn either way. Since I can figure out what works best for my students, I can steer the learning process in such a way as to make it maximally fruitful. I always seek to help others improve the skill sets with which they are born and which they have acquired over time. I also find it constructive to seek the feedback of my students to see how I can improve my own teaching style. I enjoy constructive criticism from students because teaching is continuous process, never a definitive endpoint. The same holds true for learning.
