I am a professional tutor with experience working for tutoring centers as well as in-home tutoring and home schooling. I specialize in SAT/ACT prep, English, writing, reading, biology, chemistry, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, essay writing and editing. I was a professional science writer and editor, whose job involved explaining science, writing and editing content so it's clear and engaging. I hold a BS and MS in biology from UC San Diego. I love working with students to improve their overall English skills, develop their voice, and craft clean essays. I also enjoy teaching science and math to students in a way that they can understand, and working with them to raise their grades, and improve study habits.
