My name Sonia Robles and I am writing to apply for your Private Tutor position. In my current position, I am a Fourth Grade Special Education Teacher for the Jersey City Public School district. I have an earned Bachelor's degree in Special Education and have been teaching for 16 years grades K-7 in ALL subject areas. However, I am certified to teach ALL subjects. Throughout the years, I have taught ALL subjects to students who have required some additional learning assistance. In addition, I have an earned Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy which can be a great resource to children who have difficulty in the area of Reading. Also, I have been fully trained on the Sonday Reading system, an Orton Gillingham Based reading program. Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to be a PARCC scorer where I have gained a wealth of knowledge that can be utilized to assist children during PARCC prep.
