During my education in San Francisco, California, I launched my teaching/tutoring career in the beginning of 2013. I began teaching younger students, starting from kindergarten to 5th grade. After learning about standardized tests and AP exams as well as taking multiple tests, I began to take on more students for a wide range of topics, including but not limited to AP French Language and Culture, AP English Language and Comprehension, and AP English Literature. Moreover, I have also mentored for cello lessons around the Bay Area in California for students ranging in different levels, from beginning to intermediate, with various requests such as helping with auditions for orchestra, or preparing for a solo performance. I have a strong background in English, music, and foreign languages with French and Korean. For lesson plans, I typically use exam practice books in order to review, clarify, and assist in what the student needs in order to be as successful as they can be. Although my method of tutoring is universal, my lessons with individual students are specific on need-basis for the student in what they want to review or clarify for a particular exam and/or assignments from their class. I am very flexible for times as well as how the student or parent would like me to help in any way. Though I take education and tutoring sessions very seriously, I am typically an easy-going person and passionate about teaching.
