Graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a minor in Physics with a 3.82 GPA from UCSC. I am currently a graduate student at Princeton University and have tutored for over 6 years and over 1500 hours in Organic Chemistry, Genetics, Quantum Chemistry and Biochemistry at the college level, and Pre-Calculus, AP Physics, AP Calculus, AP Chemistry and AP Biology at the high school level. I've taken courses on teaching and am comfortable catering teaching styles to individual students to ensure they get the best from their learning experience. I help students to understand the material, as opposed to simply memorizing, and to study effectively, as opposed to just spending more time studying. I am comfortable tutoring students of all ages. I am comfortable and have experience reviewing and clarifying concepts with students, as well as introducing new subject matter to students who would like to get ahead. I prefer to work with students steadily and continuously so I can get a better understanding of their learning style to better optimize our sessions, but I am also available for review sessions just before an exam. I can adjust the speed at which I go through material based on the needs of the student. For example, I can go through a large amount of material in an accelerated fashion for students preparing for an upcoming standardized test or go through materials slowly and in depth for students struggling with the subject matter.
