To summarize my experience, I have eleven years experience teaching middle- and high school students, with 40% of the student population requiring Special Needs, including LD, SED and ADHD. Our student population reflected a diverse ethnic and cultural population. My overall teaching experience includes eleven years teaching Science (Environmental; Earth & Space, and Biology); three years teaching Computer (Office/Word); two years teaching Basic Engineering; five years teaching piano; and one year teaching carpentry/building trades to adults. I also presently tutor students through Wyzant, a similar online tutoring service. I am a very enthusiastic individual with excellent public speaking skills, and quickly establish lasting rapport with students and their parents.
