Hello! I have been teaching for 3 years (licensed k-5) and am graduating with my Masters in Education from CSU in June. I've taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade, so I am well versed in what your child needs to know in elementary school. I am saving up for my wedding and have decided to offer tutoring services! What I need from you: -Communicate with your child's teacher and ask what skills they need to work on. For me to benefit your child, I need to know where to start! -At sessions, please send your child with any graded work they've brought home. We can review any missed questions as well as reviewing content they need. -I will meet in a public space (libraries, coffee shops, etc.) and my rate's $30/hr cash. If you'd like to see my credentials, I am more than happy! My promise to you: I have a passing rate of 95% for my 3 years teaching, including state testing. I am familiar with the CommonCore standards and I can and will make a positive difference in your child's academic path, but our sessions will need to be consistent! Open communication is key!
