When I was in school, I was the kid everyone went to for answers and the one who challenged the instructors. In my long career in IT and Telecommunications, I was the person who was tasked with figuring out new equipment and then teaching everyone else how to use it. Outside of work, I've been a working musician, singer, songwriter, recording engineer, and producer. My greatest skill is the ability to see the relationships between seemingly unrelated things. I have the ability to work with all manner of skill levels and experiences. Whether teaching someone how to put strings on a guitar or leading clerks, technicians, and IT directors through the successful execution of extremely complex and detailed IT disaster recovery procedures, I never lose sight of the idea that my job is to enhance and enrich rather than to impose and control. I can work with all ages, but prefer Jr. High and older... even as old as or older than me. So what does that mean for you, who needs a tutor? It means you will be engaging someone who will: 1. Help you determine exactly what it is you wish to accomplish, (without a goal, there can be no plan to attain it) 2. Find the best method for you to learn, (everyone learns differently so there is no "one size fits all" plan) 3. Work with you to gain confidence in yourself and the subject, (confidence is the true key to learning) 4.
