I'm Alex and I'm an experienced English tutor based in Denver, Colorado. I am Orton Gillingham trained and specialize in English reading, writing, and comprehension. I'm passionate about passing on my knowledge to students of all ages and levels of experience. I hold my Masters in Reading from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and have worked as a Reading Specialist in the past. I currently work as a 1st grade teacher in Denver. I'm passionate about ensuring that kids have the foundational skills and confidence to become wonderful readers. I believe reading should be fun and engaging, and I love watching the light bulbs go off as students grasp concepts!
