Hello! I'm Chardonnay, a recent grad of the University of Pennsylvania, where I graduated summa cum laude in Philosophy, Politics & Economics. As a veteran tutor, I have years of experience working within College Prep programs, where I helped dozens of high school girls boost their SAT scores by hundreds of points (25% average increase) and reach their dreams of getting into schools like Penn, Princeton, and UC Berkeley. Before that, I've done freelance tutoring in French and volunteered teaching Writing and Social Sciences to students from underprivileged communities. Now that I have left academia, I've started to miss helping people of all ages excel in their studies. I offer lessons starting at $40.0 hourly for basic services related to SAT/College Prep, Writing/English, and mathematics up to pre-Calc. (For more specialized course assistance, e.g. Trigonometry or AP Literature, prices range from $50 to $65 depending on the time needed to synthesize lessons.) Since no two students are the same, I believe that no two tutoring sessions should be the same either. I use the PIE (Prioritize, Investigate, Engage!) framework to ensure that my students and I are on the same page both within lessons and when supporting them in their end goals of success.
