I have been tutoring students from elementary school to college in math, science, and other subjects since 2002. My objective is to help students achieve their academic goals as well as appreciate the subjects that they are studying. There is a great satisfaction when the subject topics become much clearer and simpler! I also enjoy helping college students with general education courses, so that they can devote more time towards their major classes. I graduated from California State University with a master's degree in biotechnology. My undergraduate degree was in molecular biology, with a minor in chemistry. During my undergraduate studies, I worked in an exploratory microbiology research lab. In addition to publications, I received multiple research grants and presented at various biotechnology symposiums. During my graduate studies, I helped develop new analytical methods for a drug that treats cystic fibrosis. In my spare time, I enjoy physical fitness, bicycling, and coffee roasting.
