My name is Elizabeth Eva Plevinski and I recently graduated from Wayne State University. I received a Master of Arts in economics, however, I also hold a minor in mathematics. Prior to admission into the MA program at WSU, I was a PhD student of economics from 2010-201.... During my studies as a PhD student I had the opportunity to teach undergraduate economics courses at the university. After temporarily leaving the PhD program, I became employed as a K-12 substitute teacher through EduStaff LLC where I am currently employed. I became a permanent substitute teacher for the L'Anse Cruese Public School District in 2015. My plan is to reenter the PhD program in the fall. I absolutely fell in love with the teaching experience back in 2010 when I taught my first class at Wayne State University. I have also been blessed with the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages. I am able to provide math tutoring for algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. In addition to being a student and a teacher, I am also a mother of four beautiful children to whom I provide math comprehension assistance to on a continuous basis. I have helped to prepare my oldest son who is 20 years of age quite a few times in preparing for various math quizzes and exams at a college level and I have also assisted my youngest son who is 10 years of age with his math homework as well. My oldest is currently studying to be an engineer and the youngest has been an "all A's" honor roll student for all four quarters of the 2015-201... school year.
