I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, where I had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant in math courses for five semesters. This has fueled my passion in education in mathematics, and I plan on pursuing a teaching profession after obtaining an advanced degree in mathematics in the future. I have also tutored privately in mathematics in the middle school and high school level. Tutoring students brings a very individualized aspect of education to students, which I love to provide. Through my experience in both tutoring and learning mathematics, I strongly believe that a sound education means helping the students to not just understand the material, but to gain independence in being able to tackle and master the concepts.
