My two-year experience tutoring 4th and 5th graders in Math made me fall in love with teaching. I believe it is both a privilege and a responsibility for me to pass onto students what has been passed onto me by my inspirational professors and colleagues. I want to engage a learning environment which is built upon my students’ strengths and interests, combined with achieving their learning goals. My tutoring sessions will be personalized, productive and confidence building. I believe every student is capable of achieving their learning goals; therefore, I can cater to every student and use different teaching strategies to create academic success. I have recently completed my Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Rosalind Franklin University. I majored in Chemistry and Mathematics at the University of Illinois. I am most passionate about teaching math and sciences. In my free time I love playing basketball, traveling, and watching sports. I look forward to working with you!
