I'm a native Mandarin instructor for those who learn Chinese as a second language. I had worked by choice as a Mandarin instructor of foreign students for 11 years in famous universities of China. I have rich teaching experience of group class and 1 on 1 instruction both in China and USA. So far, the number of my students including adults and teenagers has been over 1,200. I possess Chinese Teaching Certificate issued by Chinese Ministry of Education. In 2005, I obtained the National Spoken Mandarin Qualification with the level of professional announcer in China. In 2013, I created the paper and took the recording responsibility of the National Science Chinese Examination for foreign students in China. Besides, I'm the co-author of the Book "Easily pass-New HSK Simulated Tests for Level 4", which is one of the most popular materials of HSK-National Chinese Level Test (Chinese TOEFL) in China. In my opinion, whether the tutor can enable, in a limited time, the students to use Chinese syntax, pronunciation and structure correctly and efficiently in their daily lives, studies and jobs is the primary standard to check and examine the teaching methods and level. Under this goal, I have to control three standards when I am doing Chinese language instruction: teaching clearly, leading correctly and correcting mistakes effectively. The students don't only regard me as their tutor but also a sincere friend. A session of 1 on 1 instruction is $35 hourly plus travelling fee if far travelling is necessary.
