Tutor in Islip, New York

My name is Janet Salinas. I am a 47 year-old American born citizen. I am looking for a Spanish or English Tutor position for kids ages 8-17 years old. I grew up speaking Spanish at home since my family is from South America. I am proficient in English and Spanish (written/spoken/translated/Interpreted). I currently work in a school for children with disabilities where I am the official Spanish Interpreter and Translator for the school. I am the voice for the children/parents and Service Providers. I am also a Certified New York State Teacher Assistant and Mandated Reporter. My goal is to help children improve their Spanish/English language skills and therefore be able to communicate with others and do better in school.
