Hello, to all parents and students! I am offering a full time tutoring service for elementary students in the Kitchener Waterloo area. My services are guaranteed to be professional, unique, strategic, curriculum based, and reasonably priced. I can provide service in the following: -behavioural and intellectual assessments -curriculum based activities designed specifically to your child strengths and need's -assistance in summer transition to the next grade level or school preparation -tutoring in math, English, science, social studies, French and more -tutoring in grades kindergarten to grade 6 - trained, qualified and experienced service in working with I.E.P.'s, special needs, developmental delays, learning disabilities and nonverbal students - quality one on one tutoring, daily or weekly for 1, 2 or 3 hour sessions -fun and unique, in-home lessons, specifically catered to your child's interests I have been providing tutoring to the area for 5 years now. I specialize in childcare, elementary grade levels, and working with special needs. I am a certified Educational Assistant. I have received my E.A. certificate from Conestoga College and the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship program (OYAP). I completed my apprenticeship through the Waterloo Regional District School Board, at a variety of local schools, including Sandhills P.S., Forest Heights Collegiate Institute and John Darling P.S. I am currently attending Conestoga College, for the second time, on a part time basis completing the bridge program for an Educational Assistant Diploma. I have also been trained in Strong Start, through the WRDSB, and was previously the director of delivering assistance in the word, letter and sound sectors (jolly phonics). I can honestly say that I've never met a child whose potential I couldn't see; and I am entirely passionate about providing every child with the support and resources that they need to succeed!
