I'm a high school student at Cary High, and I have been playing violin for over 5 years now. I was approached with the opportunity to teach a neighbour's daughter to play. I do work best with beginners with under 2 years experience. I figured it would be smart of me to try tutoring because: 1. I don't believe in overpriced music lessons. (I have been in the same spot myself when I was beginning to play violin.) 2. I like helping young people learn. In addition to years of experience with varied instructors, I have also taken a semester of music theory, which is the mechanics behind music making and the understanding of how to play different instruments. No worries I travel outside of Cary & I will travel to you! Usually I take public transit, so if you're considering my services I'll have to check how the routes run near your residence. I have a solid rate of: $10/30 minutes $20/60 minutes **Note: Typically, I spend a little extra time after the hour to finish up whatever lesson was being worked on that day.
