I'm 22 years old and am currently in the process of getting my bachelor's degree in economics. I do Spanish tutoring on the side to help fund my education and because I love the Spanish language and culture. I served as a missionary in Bolivia for two years and worked non stop communicating with the people there. I studied the language in high school, so I used that as my platform jumping into a language and culture that were completely foreign to me. Although it was difficult at first, Spanish seemed to come natural to me and within a matter of months I was a fluent writer and speaker of the language. I am mostly self taught so I am experienced in breaking down the grammar and vocabulary so that anyone can easily understand it. The advantage of learning a foreign language while in a foreign country is that you become more intimately familiar with all of the ins and outs of the language than you ever could by merely taking a few classes in your home country.
