Hello! I am a teacher of 6 years and have my Master’s Degree. My three degrees are Certified Elementary Educator, Special Needs Educator, and Reading Interventionist. I have taught all elementary grades and tutored through 8th grade. I have a lot of experience teaching children who have slight learning disabilities to more extreme special needs (Autism, ADD/ADHD, etc.) I am familiar with several curriculum's and able to teach any subject your child might need. I have materials and books that I pull from to help meet the needs of where your child is currently at. Any information you can provide from their current teacher or homework or assessments the children have recently completed will help me in forming an individualized lesson plan to help them succeed. I also believe that communication between the child’s parents and me can be so critical in helping your child. I can provide strategies or additional tips that can help your child at home as well! Children all learn so differently and having one on one tutoring can be such a beneficial tool to success. Summer months are so fun, but can be hard for children to adjust back to school in August since they haven’t been exposed to academics during these months.
