¿Necesitas ayuda con tu clase de español? If you didn't get the meaning of that, the answer is most likely yes. And even if you did understand, everyone learning a new language could use some extra help! I'm a native Arizonan, but I lived in Mexico City for 2 years serving as a missionary-- I had to go through what you're going through right now with learning a new language. I know what the difficulties are, and how to explain them! We've all had the native Spanish speakers try to explain to us the rules of Spanish, but they just can't do it in a way that we 'gringos' can understand. That's why I can help you get that passing grade that you need in your Spanish class! Fees are minimal-- $15 an hour for private sessions, and I also give discounts for groups. If you'd like some extra help with a concept like past perfect subjunctive, send me a text!

Hi there! My name is Donitza and I would like to be your science tutor. Can tutor any science through undergraduate college. I work well with elementary-high school students. Rates negotiable based on study type, hours and travel. I am pursuing my masters degree in Applied Geospatial Sciences (fancy way of saying I make maps) with an emphasis on conservation biology, climate change, and education. I hold a B.S. in Environmental Biology with a GIS certification and several years of science and conservation field work. My goal is to become a GIS specialist for the Department of the Interior although I may very likely end up giving in and getting my teachers certification. From 2010-201... I was "RadioActive Rain" the Mad Scientist at the Powerhouse Science Center, in Durango Colorado. I spent my days exploding various objects and instilling science into young minds. I love teaching and exciting students about the wonders of sciences and instilling a want to become a life long learner instead of simply getting a good grade. I am a very relaxed, patient person who will not become frustrated or try to rush students to learn. I am extremely open to teaching new styles and methods, leaving the house or the "normal" study ways for something new or meaningful. While tutoring you I want us to learn together, I don't claim to know everything, nor do I think teaching should be all about the teacher distilling information into the mind of the students to regurgitate on a test. I want to make sure that you understand the material and can teach me something new about it and I would love to guide you through that process. So let's learn together and re-invoke the curiosity and enjoyment that comes with knowledge.
