My name is Raisa Munshi and I am a Sophomore Health Science Major at University. I went to Lane Technical High School- a selective enrollment school in Chicago. I completed 12 AP Classes during my high school career and did very well in them. I graduated at the top 5% of my class. Due to the plethora of classes I took and being able to do very well in them, I have skills and unique ways in which to help others learn material that they might find difficult. I can tutor for specific tasks such as quizzes and tests, or in general terms for different subjects. I can help all students from grades 1 to 11th grade, specifically in science and test preparation. I can also help with standardized tests, such as the ACT and SAT- I can help them achieve a score that is set within their goals (help them reach a higher than 30 or whatever their set target is). Specifically, as a tutor, I can help with science fair at any grade level. I had done science fair since I was in 2nd grade. During my high school career, my projects moved on to State and received Gold for 3 years. In my final year, my project was an International Alternate for the International Fair and it allowed me to receive a very high scholarship for college. I can assure you that I can help the student find a fun outlet in their science project while also teaching and helping them produce the best work for their fair. I can help them also write other scientific papers and help them find scientific opportunities to apply for if they are interested in this. Overall, I am able to tutor well in all subjects for Grades K-11 and build amazing study skills for all students; science is the specific area where I can help the student beyond just academics, but also find internships, research opportunities and also provide my own experience as a science major and someone on the goal to pursue a career in science.
