The bottom line is that *we appreciate our tutors!* Job Overview: Contracted work - majority of hours after school/evenings and w/ends Tutors needed with expertise in the following subjects but not limited to: * Kindergarten through high school education, College/university and Adult programs * Geometry, Algebra I & II, Calculus, Trigonometry, Math Analysis, Statistics * Chemistry, Biology, Physics * SAT/ACT Prep, GED, GRE, LSAT testing prep * Foreign languages - to include Latin, Spanish, French, Italian and German * Reading, Language Arts * Writing skills and writing organization * Special needs education * Accounting, Economics, Business, Marketing * IT Programs Responsibilities include: * Effectively balance tutoring hours for each assigned student * Successfully and professionally teach students based on their needs * Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests * Have reliable transportation * Be on time and have an excellent work ethic * Background check at own expense * Be open to new ideas & learning strategies * Have good interpersonal and communication skills * Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone Qualifications Preferred: * Teachers, present and retired, educational college students * License or certification * One year of teaching or tutoring Experience We look forward to hearing from you!!
