Tutor in Portsmouth, Rhode Island

I am a retired science teacher , who has taught 6-8th grade science at Moses Brown Middle School, a Quaker Private School in Prov. RI. for 23 years. My teaching experience includes the following: Science at Gordon Private School , 3-5th grade science, English, Social Studies at Wheeler Private School, 10th grade Biology in Md.; 8th grade science , S. Attleboro MA., and Microbioligy at Hahneman Medical School , Philadelphia...... I was a research scientist at Merck Sharpe & Dohme , in Neurophysiology as well. I tutor study skills in all levels thru 12 th grade .. I have experience as a substitute teacher in all levels . I am not only s proficient Teacher/ Tutor but a person who absolutely loves working with all students to help them achieve proficiency and overcome their educational barriers. Every student is an individual , and deserves a helping hand to enjoy learning and therefore success.
