Hi! My name is Shrida and I’m a Medical Sciences student at Western University with several years of experience tutoring students in math, science, biology, and reading. I’ve worked at Kumon since 2018 and also tutor students privately. I know that school can feel frustrating when a concept does not click right away, so I try to make each session relaxed, encouraging, and easy to follow. I can help with homework, test and exam preparation, difficult concepts, study habits, organization, and building confidence. I also create personalized notes, practice questions, summary sheets, and study plans based on each student’s needs. My teaching style is patient, friendly, and flexible. I am happy to explain a topic in different ways, use examples, and work at the student’s pace until they feel comfortable. I have both online and in-person availability. My goal is to help students improve academically while also becoming more confident and independent learners. I believe that every student is capable of achieving their goals with the right guidance and encouragement. My hourly rate is $22, making quality tutoring accessible to families in our community.
