Tutors including Writing in Rochester, New York

I am a rising junior at the University of Rochester and have a diverse field of knowledge. I am from Chicago and have been tutoring for 4 years.

I have worked with students with special needs (learning disabilities) for three years, both one-to-one and in special education classes in smaller groups.

Looking to help students with writing, reading, history, civics/government, public speaking, debate, research, and presentation skills.

Experienced LSAT tutor, willing to drive, current College student. Have past students who can attest to skills.

I tutor Writing, English and Math. These areas include Introduction to Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry. I have a Bachelor's degree in English and Literature. I also have a Master's degree in Special Education, Grades K -12. I generally teach the core subjects to students from Grades K thru 6. I am looking for 15 to 20 hours of tutoring work a week.

Ive been "tutoring" my neices since they've started school, they are now in 4th and 1st grade. I teach with the childs best interest( Hands on,paper work, etc) I aim to have the child understand the work being done not just the problem at hand.
