Hello and thank you for reading my profile. Kudos to you for being an involved caregiver and considering additional support for your student! I am dual certified teacher, K-12 Special Education and K-6 General Education. I have tutored students from pre-k through high school for over ten years as well as taught both middle and elementary in public education for 8 years. I love being an educator, it's simply who I am. I work with students of all ability levels including those with specific learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, emotional disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and more. I tutor children grades K-12 in all areas of language arts including phonetic and decoding skills, reading fluency, comprehension strategies, and writing. In the area of math I tutor grades K-8. I also help to develop study, organization, and social skills. Whether you're being proactive and would like to build on your student's academic skills or you'd like additional support for a struggling student, I am here to help! All lessons are individually designed to fit the specific needs of the student as well as fun and engaging. I work with families both during the summer months and school year.
