I am a recent graduate from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I have taken a wide array of courses including Advanced Health Psychology, Women's Studies, Art History, and English Ed to name a few. Upon commencing my undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware, I was advanced into a higher level psychology course due to my high achievement on the Advanced Placement Psychology Exam. My dedication to the field of psychology has steadily progressed as I accumulated a heavier psychology based course load. In addition to the knowledge I have gained from my education, I also possess hands on experience from my Work Study Placement tutoring children with learning disabilities at The College School UD. This position has equipped me with the knowledge to respond quickly and flexibly in order to meet the needs of the children I worked with. This experience provided me with an incredible sense of fulfillment. Through my work study I was able to advance young children’s education and communication skills and provided me with experience working collaboratively with teachers and parents in order to ensure a cohesive and nurturing environment. I have always been a dedicated student and would love for the opportunity to utilize my knowledge to help young children further their education.
