I am an elementary special education teacher with over ten years of teaching experience, a Masters in Education and my National Board Certification. I provide specially designed instruction to students in reading, writing and math based on initial assessments and then choose from a variety of curriculum to provide instruction that best meets their needs. I monitor progress with regular assessment and provide effective feedback and instruction based on assessment information. I create a safe and enjoyable environment for all of my students, immediately building a sense of trust and ease. I hold all of my students to high expectations and foster their work ethic and their self esteem in addition to building academic skill. I am able to develop relationships while maintaining an incredibly efficient and effective learning environment. I have flexible hours and can travel to your home or meet at a public space such as a library. My rate rates are 50$/hour for 1 student and 30$/hour per student for 2 students.
