Tutor in Northampton, Massachusetts

I am a graduate of UMass Amherst with a Bachelors in Science with Individual concentration in Neuroanthropology, an interdisciplinary field. My strong areas are neuroscience and psychology, anthropology and sociology, linguistics, political science, and philosophy. Writing is my main talent, and I love helping people improve their papers and writing ability over all. I am also well versed at research, and I enjoy showing students how they can develop methods to teach themselves, a skill that will last a lifetime and applies to all areas of life (and will eventually make me obsolete as a tutor). I have some experience working with high school students in Springfield for the Let's Get Ready! program, which helps students prepare for the MCAS. I also have some experience with Spanish, as I traveled abroad for a month in SpainI am willing to commute, and my rates are reasonable depending on the location and the amount of tutoring needed.
